Collectively, our team has decades of experience working closely with individual investors, lending institutions, developers, and institutional property owners in every facet of the commercial real estate industry. We are carefully comprised of team members with both a strong entrepreneurial spirit and fortitude on the one hand, and on the other, years spent working for some of the largest US Corporations in areas such as finance, accounting, marketing and sales. Degrees in Real Estate Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration are held from top business schools such as Loyola Marymount University and University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, among others.

The performance, integrity, and character of our team is also very important to us and is reflected in our hiring process. Additionally, giving back to the community is at the core of our culture at DB Commercial. This dedication to philanthropy is inspired directly by our Founder, Donald Zennie. Donald J. Zennie

Donald J. Zennie, founder of D.B. Commercial Investments, Inc. (“DBC”), entered the investment real estate business in 1986. Since that time, he has developed a wealth of experience in nearly all facets of commercial real estate including asset management, property management, sales, leasing, financing, troubled assets, development, environmental and more.

Prior to founding DBC in 1993, he entered the industry as a real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, investment real estate brokers, and quickly elevated to a Senior Agent, representing investors and sellers of income properties.

In 1989, Don and a business partner formed Eppard-Zennie, Inc., a property management company specializing exclusively in the management, brokerage, consultation of retail shopping centers and office buildings. In addition, Eppard-Zennie, Inc., was involved in the development, acquisition and sales of single tenant net leased investments.

DBC was founded by Don in 1993 and since that time the company has been acclaimed by its clients to be experts in asset management, property management, commercial real estate brokerage, consultation, feasibility analysis and in most all related aspects of commercial real estate.

In 1995, upon recommendation of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Don was appointed by the Superior Court of the State of California to act as a receiver.

Serving honorably in the U.S. Army from 1968 – 1971, he was a helicopter crew chief with more than 1,000 combat missions flown in Vietnam and was awarded a Bronze Star and multiple Air Medals with “V” device for valor.

Don was a California State Scholarship recipient and earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

He is an active road bicyclist and swimmer though Don’s true passion is with the Special Olympics.

Commencing in 1997, he was the founder/director of the Special Olympics of Santa Clarita Valley (“SOSCV”), a program that continues to serve hundreds of special needs families residing in his home town. SOSCV was once recognized to be the model Special Olympics program in the entire state.

He continues to “give back” to others and presently serves on the Advisory Board for San Miguel School in Watts (Los Angeles).

Adam P. Good

Adam Good, President of DB Commercial Investments, Inc. has been with the company since 2007 and is primarily charged with management and oversight of approximately 500,000 square feet of retail assets in D.B. Commercial’s Southern California portfolio.

Adam has extensive experience in various facets of commercial real estate stemming from his 25 years of experience in the field. Notable areas of expertise include asset management, property management, financial and market analysis, leasing and finance.

Prior to joining DB Commercial, as Vice President of Fremont Investment and Loan, Adam produced over $1 Billion in construction and renovation/repositioning financing in California, New York and Washington D.C. for a major US construction lender. His 10 years of experience in highly speculative construction and repositioning finance of commercial real estate provides the backbone of his expertise in financial analysis, feasibility and acquisition due diligence, market analysis and finance.

A graduate of the University of Southern California where he received his bachelor’s degree from the Marshall School of Business with a specialty in Real Estate Finance, Adam is an avid supporter of USC and is involved with the Santa Clarita Valley alumni association.

Born and raised in Southern California, Adam is supported by his wife and three children. Adam is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, hiking, trail running and camping with his wife and three sons. When not in the office, field or lost in the outdoors, Adam enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
